I decided to leave a positive review after my interaction with Mr. Wakim. After I had unknowingly purchased an expired item (it was past its best before but still being sold), he took ownership of the store's mistake without question, and he was very polite and respectful. The person who spoke to me beforehand (maybe the manager; I'm not sure as he didn't introduce himself) was unfortunately not well mannered in his interaction with me and was dismissive of my concern, which made me feel uncomfortable. Maybe he was having a difficult day. However, Mr. Wakim had the opposite demeanor and was understanding and well-mannered. For that reason, I recommend this store. I do wish they would consider not charging extra for plant based milk at the barista, as a lot of coffee shops have moved away from doing so. I didn't mention this to Mr. Wakim, but it's a thought I had. However, the matcha drink I had twice there was good. Thank you, Mr. Wakim.
Nice high end grocery with fresh products and friendly customer service. Went there a few weeks back to try their lunch to go options and it was delicious, although slightly expensive. Recommended.
Great selection of produce, meats, poultry, cheeses etc. Excellent coffees, must try the superb tacos on site and one can't forget the owner who ensures his clients are completely satisfied with the service. Highly recommend!!
Best fresh market you’ll ever visit. Matcha is to die for! Never has such a good matcha in my life. The sandwiches…. Made fresh daily and you can even get a custom one if you prefer. I had the pleasure of meeting Wakim myself, he took the time to help me find what I needed and then proceeded to make this amazing matcha for me. The staff is incredible and so friendly. They have a deli and bakery as well as fish and pretty much anything you want! I highly Recommend!
Great little market, but the prices can be high on some items. Nice location!
Great store with awesome selection but a bit higher prices.
I implore this store to find another place besides the Galeries de Hull. It has an unparalleled catalogue and it should be frequented more often.
